Gritty Grace: The new REDValentino Winter 2015 collection

A new twist on the grunge-girly look from REDValentino has us impressed.
REDValentino never fails to inject a little bit of whimsy in their collection and this Fall/ Winter 2015 collection is no different. Described as ‘gritty grace’, the range features a mix of contrasts between textures, styles and prints. You rarely associate frills with grunge and checks, but this collection has brought the two together in a wonderful way.
They even match red and black checks and mesh with floral, frilly maxi skirts and chunky black leather boots. It is essentially grunge with a little bit of girly fun infused into it, making it dainty and delicate.
From the bright red and green plaid, the collection transitions slowly to pastel pinks and blues, and neutral shades and the textures flow from floral to plain to mesh and faux fur. Eventually and naturally, everything comes together rather harmoniously.
We especially love the fax fur coats, jackets and capes. They’re simply perfect for the winter season to keep you toasty and warm, and also animal-friendly for the fashionistas who are against animal cruelty.
REDValentino lives up to expectations once again, and we are definitely loving it.
