Singapore-based jewellery brand, SunMoonRain seeks beauty in its most natural and rough states for her upcoming collection.

Jewellery has many facets, it could be bold and ostentatious, subtle and minimalistic, raw and organic or intricate and elegant. All of which cater to varying tastes and personalities and even occasions. However, at the heart of it all, jewellery needs to hold a certain connection with the individual – whether it carries a memory of someone or simply creates a good touch on the skin.

For that connection, we regularly look to Singapore-based jewellery brand, SunMoonRain for their stackable stretch bracelets made from a myriad of precious, semi-precious stones and crystals. By encouraging positive energy and healing, the designer, Shabnam Melwani’s pieces instinctively exude a wave of tranquility and bliss.

If you thought there could be no higher ground for Melwani to soar on, think again. By delving deeper into an appreciation for all things raw and unadulterated, SunMoonRain’s next path lies in a fine jewellery collection of bracelets, aptly titled, RawLuxe.

Crafted from a combination of rough and polished grey diamonds from India, rainbow moonstones from Africa and 18K rose gold nuggets hand-crafted in Bali, the new collection unreservedly embraces the very essence of pure and natural states – as rugged and jagged they might be. In a palette of soothing grey hues, complemented with warm rose golds, the bracelets garner all the attention they need without being overtly flashy.

Essentially, at the base of it all, the message is clear, that beauty lies in unpolished and harsh forms as much as it lies in refined, sparkling ones.

SunMoonRain’s RawLuxe collection will be available online and at edit lifestyle from 5 November 2014

Lovely jewellery. Price point a bit ridiculous though!! Can get similar bracelets much cheaper online.
