OOTD: Cool weather flannel

As the weather turns cooler, it’s time to break out the cosy flannels.

OOTD: How to wear Flannel

From Victoria Beckham to Thakoon, we saw a lot of plaid on the Spring 2016 runways. However you don’t have to wait for Spring to wear plaid. As the weather turns cooler (and wetter) on our tropical island it is the perfect time to wear the thicker clothes in your collection, like flannel.

The trouble with flannel is that it can easily make you look like an angsty teenager. To glam up your flannel shirt ever so slightly, avoid pairing it with its soulmate – distressed skinny jeans. Instead, choose a pair of pristine dark denim bootcut jeans. To give yourself more options during the day, wear a light cotton T-Shirt underneath your flannel.

Tan suede complements your flannel blouse’s Fall vibe. Incorporate it into your outfit with your accessories like bags and shoes. Avoid pairing your outfit with sneakers and opt for a heeled ankle boot instead. Finish off your outfit with a pair of oversized sunglasses, just in case the sun decides to show up
