We’re inspired by the higher-end sibling of Topshop this week! See how we switched it up from Fall to Summer-ready.
Topshop Unique gives us an homage to the 60s with their Fall 2015 collection. Opting for a contrast of pastel hues and dark fur, we loved how they reinterpreted this summery look for winter, and how we can easily convert it to suit our sunny weather.
Wear it your way and skip the knits. Go straight into a lightweight woven fabric like crepe, so even as a turtleneck, a pleated blouse like the No. 21 piece we picked will leave you feeling light as air and won’t have you fearing bouts of claustrophobia. Take style points from the runway and pair the top with a chambray mini skirt (save the leather for monsoon season!) to take the look from prude to preppy in an instant.
Whoever said fur just isn’t for our tropical climate obviously hasn’t laid eyes on this Stella McCartney stunner. Give the luxe finish a chance on a lust-worthy faux fur shoulder bag and you won’t have to worry about heat stroke. Polish it all off with a peachy gloss on your lips and nothing else – as seen on the models, makeup is optional.
