Revamp your wardrobe by mixing and matching this Fall’s most sought after shades of grey.

As we bid summer goodbye along with its blinding palette of lemon yellow and boisterous prints, it’s time to usher in a more muted palette to align with the subdued season of Fall.

This season, designers seem to have a knack for dwelling in grey areas as this in-between shade was sent down countless of runways and was reinvented and reinterpreted each time it surfaced. Just when you thought, could fall’s palette get any duller? Think again, for the myriad of grey presented on the runways will change your mindset on this shady hue. From ash to slate, charcoal to gunmetal, to even think there were fifty shades of grey would be an understatement.

While black and white remain the undefeated champions of the classics, swaying in the middle of both can provide a refreshing palette cleanser as it tones down the harshness of noir, and adds a more mysterious vibe to an otherwise pristine white look.

For the more ardent fans of grey, go forth and experiment with a multitude of greys in one ensemble, or if you’d rather, contrast different grey patterns together – grey stripes, grey polka dots, grey houndstooth, whichever floats your boat.

If an all grey ensemble isn’t quite your thing, you could always reel in this matte metal’s silver twin and incorporate metallic paneling or metallic accessories – though we’d highly suggest keeping it to silver. Team grey with other muted hues of powder blue and blush pink to ace the subdued yet stylistic look to perfection.
