Designer Style: How to dress like your favourite NYFW designer?
updated the 6 October 2015 à 22:28Cutting down on the morning “What do I wear today?” fuss seems to be the best option for most designers. Here are some of their go-to outfits.
New York Fashion Week will be kicking off in the Big Apple and we can’t wait to see what interesting angles and creations designers will present for the new season. But as we delve into the fashions they’ve worked months tirelessly for, why not take a closer look at the wardrobes of the designers themselves?
At the forefront and as the very essence of the fashion industry, these game-changers surely have gotten their own styles down to a T prior to knowing what looks good on other women. Some have even said that those in high places prefer to invest in their own uniform in order to avoid too much decision-making, aside from the important choices they have to make on the work aspect. We agree, as can be seen on designers such as Carolina Herrera (white shirt and full skirt), Diane Von Furstenberg (wrap or shift knee-length dress) and Rachel Zoe (skinny or wide-leg trousers).
So to recreate their styles and fake your own designer profile, take a look at the ensembles we’ve broken down from fashion’s hardest workers themselves in the gallery above.
