Too lazy to queue for mooncakes? Foodpanda will deliver them to you

If sheer laziness is what has been getting in the way of you honouring traditional festivities – like getting mooncakes for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, for one – Foodpanda’s mooncake delivery service might just be the answer you need.

From now till 4th October, Foodpanda users can get their mooncake fix delivered right to their doorsteps from over 20 different restaurants and hotels featured on the app. And mind you, these are not from your run-of-the-mill bakeries. These include an impressive list of crowd favourites like Fullerton Hotel Cake Boutique, TCC and Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert, just to name a few.

Whether you’re a traditionalist when it comes to your traditional sweet treats or are partial to experimenting with new flavours, Foodpanda seemingly has it all. Expect classic old school flavours like ‘Crispy Skin Pure Yam with Single Yolk’ from Garden Pastry & Cake or more radical flavours like the Strawberry-Lime-Tequila Truffle Mooncake from Grand Hyatt’s Mezza9. (We don’t know about you, but the latter has left us highly intrigued).

In retrospect, delivery services that make the whole process of orchestrating traditional celebrations a lot easier are truly god-sent. After all, given that we’re living in an age and generation where everything we could be possibly be need can be met at your literal fingertips (and a smartphone screen), why should ordering your mooncakes be any different?

Mooncakes on Foodpanda are available from now till 4th October 2017. Prices begin from SGD35/box of 6.
