The Guild
The Guild is the newest kid on the block along the trendy dining enclave that is Keong Saik. The new restaurant and bar has craft beers from Hong Kong’s most prominent independent craft brewery, Young Master Brewery. Let their bartenders guide you through their 19 different beers on tap (SGD8 to SGD16) and their limited edition brews (SGD12 to SGD20) that include the Days of Wild and more. There's also a scrumptious selection of bar bites food: tuck into a comforting bowl of Mac n' Cheese (SGD18) or their Salt and Vinegar Fries (SGD8).

Cool Cats
Rejoice folks - there's a new speakeasy in town. Hidden behind an unassuming door at multi-concept space The NCO Club is Cool Cats. This intimate, 60-seater watering hole boasts of an impressive cocktail menu, which feature reinvented classics like the Mezcal Negroni and The White Lady, all served in its swanky 1920s-esque lounge interiors. And that's not the best bar: each week, the bar welcomes live international music acts that span genres from R&B to jazz. Solid drinks, great live beats, and that X-factor only a good speakeasy can exude, Cool Cats is definitely primed to be the new watering hole for, well, cool cats.

MONA Lounge
One thing's for sure: Mona Lounge (Sum Yi Tai's back-room cocktail lounge) is definitely not your average watering hole. Located on the second floor of the shophouse, diners will be presented with a unique code for a locked door leading to the Mona Lounge. Inspired by the hedonism and glamour in 1980s Hong Kong, it's fashioned after the drinking dens of that era; there's mahjong tables, plush leather seats, and jazzy Chinese tunes for a pretty authentic and believable ambience. The bar concocts mod-Asian cocktails like the Mona's Tea, a cognac-based cocktail made with oolong sherry and Fernet Branca and actually comes served in an elegant teacup, as well as the Songstress, which is a twist on the Old-Fashioned and is based on a famous Chinese herbal remedy. And if you're hungry, there's classic Cantonese bar bites like Deep Fried Wonton to keep you satiated as you down a tipple or two.

HRVST by Kilter Avenue
If you're a healthful foodie, chances are you would've heard of HRVST. Launched by boutique gym Kilter Avenue, this vegan restaurant located at the heart of the CBD at OUE Downtown Gallery has been in the works of developing a vegan cocktail menu for its adjoining bar. Good news: you can now preview their soon-to-be launched cocktails menu! On 6 July, HRVST has partnered with a reputed bartender who will be debuting a small part of their new cocktail menu! We don't know about you, but we're certainly piqued.

Mikkeller Bar
Mikkeller Bar is certainly no stranger to the craft beer scene. Since opening its doors in Singapore for the first time in 2016, the Copenhagen-based brewery has now found a new home along Purvis Street, where it's now a full-fledged resto-bar. There are 25 rotating taps to choose from, that run the gamut from its experimental creations to standard Mikkeller pours, as well three Singapore exclusives called the Bugis Brown, Prinsep Pilsner and Waterloo Wit. P.S. They're also celebrating their grand opening on 7 July, with a beer-filled weekend jog - if that brews you with excitement, be sure to join them directly at the bar itself!
