Eat like a Diva: Beyoncé launches her own vegan meal plan

Maybe with this diet, we stand the chance to wake up #FLAWLESS like Queen Bey. Maybe.

After exploring the world outside the music industry, and dipping into the retail world with her TOPSHOP collab, Beyoncé continues to run the world.

Back in 2013, Yoncé followed her hubby Jay Z to take on a 22-day vegan diet challenge. Experts say it takes 21 days to make or break a habit and once you hit day 22, you would already get the hang of it. The philosophy proves accurate — Beyoncé is now launching her very own vegan meal service.

What is it?

With the help of her trainer, Marco Borges who initially inspired the power couple into adopting the vegan diet, Queen Bey reveals home delivery service22 Days Nutrition. The idea is to save yourself the hassle of cooking 100% plant-based, non-GMO, gluten, soy and dairy-free dishes but have them conveniently delivered to your doorsteps instead.

What’s on the menu?

The breakfast menu includes an almond berry loaf, followed by a lunch option of Indian cauliflower and sweet potato bowl. Another highlight on the menu is a serving of winter beans with zesty-parsley quinoa. The price for the appetizing dishes start at five meals for five days at USD78.40 (approx. SGD105) to 66 meals for 22 days at USD609.84 (approx. SGD820).

“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example,” says Beyoncé in a statement. “He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can.”

If that’s the case, can we wake up #FLAWLESS like you too?
