How do depolluting indoor plants work?

Depolluting plants are “air filters”: They moisten the air, absorb the excess CO2 and provide other benefits to your house interior.

Plants are fantastic “air filters”. Their leaves absorb pollution. Thanks to the microorganisms that live in their roots, they can transform them into nutriments.

Due to the vegetable perspiration and water vapour released, they moisten the often too dry air. Their release of carbon dioxide is lower than what we expire by sleeping or by lighting a cigarette or a candle.

Bonus: A quantity at least equals to that released CO2 will be reabsorbed by the plant the next day, when it will be exposed to daylight.
