Whether in bed, in the car, or at the office bad posture habits can cause backaches. Here are some practices to ensure a healthy back.

For the occasion of the World Spinal Column Day 16 October, we review postures that can create pain in the cervical or lumbar vertebrae and those that can help avoid back pain.

HOW DO WE HURT OUR BACKS?

Besides the stress and physical traumas that arise due to playing sports, or a physically tough professional activity, bad postures that we adopt every day can endanger the proper functioning of the spinal column. In the long-term they can sometimes be responsible for crippling chronic pains. According to experts, approximately a third of postures that we currently adopt are harmful to our backs.
