You feel slammed, very emotional, with a frequent desire to cry. Sometimes, you even have trouble sleeping. Here's how to naturally deal with depression.

THE PHYTOTHERAPY PRESCRIPTION

Begin immediately in the morning with mucuna, a liana used as a tonic in Ayurvedic medicine. It contains natural L-dopa, which increases the synthesis of dopamine, the neurotransmitter of the motivation. Take 1 teaspoon of dry extracts, diluted in a glass of water for six weeks. To release the pressure in the evening, try the griffonia (1 to 2 capsules) for its strong content in 5-HTP, a precursor of the serotonin - hormone that balances your mood. For severe sleep disorders, add some valerian: 2 capsules before bedtime or 25 drops of the soluble mother tincture.

THE HOMEOPATHIC PRESCRIPTION

Take two granules of Ambra grisea 7 HP 3 times a day. This will fight hypersensitivity, reactional depression and stress. Take for as long as needed.

TIP

Double up with tryptophan, an essential amino acid in the production of serotonin. It can be found in dairy products, meat, wheat, rice, parsley or soya. To ensure optimal effect,  a good contribution of vitamins B6 and B12 is needed (brewer's yeast, shells, tuna, salmon, banana) and magnesium.

THE ZEN ACTIVITY

Do the Afghan walk. It's about walking silently, without tiredness or pain, as do the Afghan camel drivers - by super oxygenating their body, on flat ground. Inhale through the nose for 3 steps, then take a step and only exhale during the following 3 steps. Thereafter, suspend your breath on the eighth step. It allows you to connect the body to your breathing  in order to reach inner calm. Practice it once a week.
