Gregory House is Da Vinci and Woody Allen at the same time. A genius to the tunes of Droopy, he solves medical mysteries worthy of the perfect crime with infant simplicity – “I have four million things to do in an emergency, but I need to buy milk.” House does not live like us, but he sleeps like many of us – his one evil addiction, his painkillers. All you need is one drug to crave, and everything goes out of order. He lives alone, like many of his fans behind the screen. He is truly one of the first negative heroes of the cable.
