Travel Companion: Mischa AW2014 collection and Kapok exclusive jet set tote

If you’re looking for a sturdy, spacious bag to take you through your weekend getaway then Hong Kong-based label, Mischa has just the solution.
Traveling may be one of our biggest indulgences but the process that comes before the actual trip tends to be a real nightmare. The horror ranges from deciding what clothes to bring that will suit the weather to eventually cracking your mind over how to pack them all in. This happens even if we’re only going away for the weekend – blame our insatiable need to over think packing.
Thankfully though, we can look to Hong Kong-based label, Mischa for just the perfect travel companion. Designed by Michelle Lai and with the globetrotter in mind – who ups and leave at a whim – Mischa’s line of bags offer up quite the travel-friendly options with spacious totes and clutches.The brand also unveiled a travel series back in 2010 that included overnighter bags for a quick jaunt overseas.
Fast forward to today, these travel bags continue to reign supreme in any jet-setting individual’s wishlist.
Mischa’s current Autumn Winter 2014 capsule collection, carries the distinct and fluid camouflage motif juxtaposed with their signature hexagon print. Available in two colourways, there’s Camo Green, which is akin to military camouflage, and Camo Orchid that sees a bright splash of purple just to jazz things up a little. In addition to experimenting with prints, the collection introduces a new style into the mix. The Voyager Duffel is the more rugged counterpart of the overnighter, with reinforced leather handles and an adjustable shoulder strap – perfect for toting around on a last minute getaway.
By keeping true to their travel sensibilities, Mischa collaborated with multi-label store, Kapok, to release an exclusive jet set tote that takes inspiration from the camo collection with slight variation in details to reflect Kapok’s iconic image. Essentially, the Mischa for Kapok Jet Set Tote comes with classic cream trimmings and Kapok’s logo embossed into the handle.
Enough talk, now all we need to do is figure out our holiday attire, throw them all into our jet set tote, book a ticket and fly out of here.
