The newest Bond girl schools us in the ways of effortless French girl chic.

You may only have just heard of the name Léa Seydoux, but the Parisian has been in more movies than you have noticed.

Seydoux has been appearing in under-the-radar roles in hit movies, from Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol to The Grand Budapest Hotel. However, this time Seydoux is coming to a cinema near you in a big way as one the latest Bond girls to join the legendary franchise.

Just last Thursday, Seydoux appeared in her home city of Paris to premiere Spectre. The actress appeared in a pale pink Miu Miu gown paired with dazzling Chopard jewels. Her simple yet chic red carpet look was completed with an equally simple yet elegant makeup look befitting of a true Parisian.

To channel your inner French girl, having flawless pretty skin is a must. Get luminous skin with a foundation like Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and highlight the high points of your face. Conceal imperfections with a light concealer and finish by blending a touch of pinky peach creamy blush into your cheeks.

With your skin now looking fresh and lovely, make your eyes pop with lashings of mascara and a smoky eye. To recreate the messy smoky eye on Seydoux, scribble a dark eyeshadow stick like one from the Sephora Collection onto your lids and blend out with your ring finger. Then take a shimmery shadow onto the center of the eyelid and inner corners to brighten your eyes. Place both colours onto your lower lash line and smudge out to complete the smoky effect.

Keep eyebrows natural and subtly defined with a brow gel then finish off by painting your pout with the same cream blusher. What’s left to do is put your hair up in a loose bun and you’ll be ready to take your place along the Champs-Élysées.
