Get the Look: Chanel’s airy jumpsuit
updated the 6 October 2015 à 22:28Rock a jumpsuit and blazer for work easily with these style picks and tips from the Chanel show.
At Chanel‘s Resort 2016 show in Seoul, Kaiser Karl didn’t hold back on adopting the cutesy trends that take hold in Korean fashion and beauty. An explosion of colours took place on the runway in respect to K-Pop, along with statement hair and makeup look of big, braided hair and graphic eyes and lips respectively. For our Get the Look edition this week, we zoom into a perfect jumpsuit-and-blazer combo you can mimic in a snap.
An airy printed jumpsuit is the foundation for this outfit, in place of the textured see-through version on the runway. A solid, neutral-hued blazer on top tones down the all-over print. Lift the entire look with a pair of black leather sandals with timeless stacked heels. Layer on the cuffs and bracelets and pop on a bright orange lip (and maybe even dab some of that on your cheeks too!).
The exaggerated milkmaid braids are optional, but if it were up to us we’d say go for it. The messier the better, to avoid looking a little too cute – even by K-beauty standards.
