FOTD: Natalie Dormer at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Premiere
The English actress shows us just how good bad girls do glam.
With roles like Anne Boleyn and Margaery Tyrell, Natalie Dormer has cemented herself as one of the most intriguing bad girls of television.
The sexy star stunned in a black and white gown by Ong Oaj Pairam at the UK premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 last Thursday. The actress paired her red carpet look with her signature smouldering eye look.
To emulate the look, start by working on your eyes first as to not ruin your foundation with fallout. Run a rich black kohl liner all around your eyes to define them. Concentrate on the roots of your lashes to give the illusion of fuller lashes. Use a palette like Sleek’s eyeshadow duo in Molten Metal to smoke out your eyes. Then concentrate the dark shade on the outer corner of your eyes and blend upwards.
Dormer kept her base matte yet luminous, a look you can achieve with Make Up Forever’s Mat Velvet Foundation. Just remember to prep your skin well with moisturiser before!
Once you’ve perfected your base, finish up the eyes by defining your brows and pump up your lashes with a volumising mascara like Benefit’s BADgal mascara. Finally, slick on a coat of neutral pink gloss to get Dormer’s signature sultry pout.
Play up your hair with a large barrelled curling tong to give it an extra oomph of volume. With the right attitude, you can strut down any red carpet with the same kind of Natalie Dormer cool.
