For a dose of streetwear, we can always trust local label, Mash Up to straight up deliver without any fault.

Mash Up is an independent, offbeat street-wear label inspired by ethnic heritage and pop culture. They opened their SS15 show at Singapore’s Digital Fashion Week 2014 with a white see-through sporty dress and puma trainers that had a bit of a heel. This was then followed by a series of pure white stylish sportswear. Models wearing casual and fashionable street and sportswear indicated the show would be all about the youth in the city and what young stylish teens would wear out. Then the pieces got a bit spiced up, and we felt like they got some inspiration from American comics in the 70s – you can see models wearing mosaic printed dresses with bright coloured portraits. How fascinating and eye-catching! After comics, the three designers from LASALLE College of the Arts, decided to show their talent and knowledge in modern arts – you can find some Picasso-inspired clothes with shiny sequins that became our favourite pieces in the collection.
