Filled with exuberant bursts of colour and futuristic iridescence, DFW’s finale show was definitely one to watch.

As Digital Fashion Week approached its curtain call, there was no better way than with the masterpieces of two of London’s Fashion Fringe’s winners: Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman.  As they attempt to rise in the industry, their collection revolved around the idea of technology as an expression of digital romanticism. Their youthful character was so much embedded into their multicoloured digital prints and silhouettes, making the end to Digital Fashion Week that much more memorable.

The clothes themselves contained feminine silhouettes with a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns, delivering easy-to-wear pieces through miniskirts, sweatshirts and fur-on-leather bomber jackets. There were exaggerated full frocks in embellished plastic floral appliqués and short geometric dresses making it the highlight of the collection. Paired with every single outfit came digitally structured high platform shoes in multicolour.

The emphasis of a digital mood running wild and free through the lineup was Fyodor Golan’s main muse, though their real hearts lay on those iridescent colors that flashes with hyper-real possibilities for the digital era.

The end of Digital Fashion Week seemed less glum now, after Fyodor Golan.
