Filled with thumping music and pops of colours, Digital Fashion Week opened to a vibrant start, especially with Carmen Dell’orefice’s appearance on the runway.

Digital Fashion Week opened with Singapore-based designers, Max Tan and You You who showcased their collections in tandem at the National Design Center in Singapore. The event attracted the likes of many famous bloggers, celebrities and models from the island and around Asia. However, the highlight of the show was Carmen Dell’Orefice – the ultimate showstopper.

Max Tan’s collection, inspired by Indian beliefs of Karma and rebirth, included elegant yet powerful pieces with flowing silhouettes and contrasting fabrics. His designs are undoubtedly creative and do inject a fresh perspective into the existing fashion scene, with its own sense of identity.

Added details created a sporty feel to the collection, and gave the show energy and enthusiasm that was further enhanced by the futuristic industrial music.

You You opened the show with a series of young and effervescent looks that showcased a sense of integrity towards the design elements as cherished by the designers.

Both, Max Tan’s and You You’s collections, correlated with each other, yet stood out with their own personal style and uniqueness.
