Of loose silhouettes and effortless styling, here’s why Cristiano Burani’s collection is perfect for the Singaporean consumer.

Casual weekend wear, with a touch of sporty details to chill out in at the beach was the overall impression that we had from Cristiano Burani’s Spring Summer 2015 collection.

The retro gingham checks of the 60s gave a modern twist by pairing it with tailored outfits and macro metal buttons. The parka reflected a cool attitude, with its distinct crinkled texture and cuffs that were covered in silver lining. Basic shades of white, blue and black offset boxy silhouettes of the pencil skirts and midi dresses, which had overlays of see through fabric. His accessories were mainly focused on footwear which included leather flip flops with rubber platforms; creepers in printed check canvas and white leather that would be perfect for the summer time. Apart from footwear, nylon checked backpacks came in either shades of mint green or light pink.

Another contemporary and feminine collection was shown. While it was relatively understated, it was impeccable in details department. We believe that Cristiano Burani will continue to showcase his talent by providing exquisite touches to his future collections.
